Yessir, you can use your iPod Touch to tether. Not a whole lot of use for it unless the computer your using doesn't pick up wifi, or you dual boot a MAC on your PC like me and lose wifi.
Download PdaNet from Cydia and setup for USB mode and download PdaNet desktop from http://junefabrics.com/desktop
for your computer. Install the program after downloading.
Hmm I think there are some .debs lying around here of PdaNet. AppCake is supposed to ne able to install .debs.
